Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Surprisingly tense.
There are times where I found it a little difficult to keep up with, especially the beginning where we were being introduced to the world – but once you’re in, you feel it vividly.
Beatty was a very intriguing character, and his back and forth with Montag on the subject of books was a goldmine.
The great thing about this book is the amount of interpretation possible, and the open-ness of the ending.
A very eye opening read, and a brilliant reminder for me that fiction is often of greater benefit than a self-help, non-fiction book.
